Exhibition 1997

One of the highlights of the activities of our association was surely the successful and extensive exhibition in the year 1997, which was organized in co-operation with the press office of the city Dresden. The exhibition “From Dresden to Peru – The life work of Dr. Maria Reiche and the lines of Nazca/Peru” was shown from May 6th to 27th, 1997 in the town hall of Dresden.

Numerous boards explained the life of Maria Reiche and the object of her researches – the soil drawings of Nazca. With great interest of the citizen of Dresden Lord Major Herbert Wagner and the consul general of Peru José Antonio Doig Alberdi opened the exhibition. The opening was accompanied of sounds of Peruvian folk.
