Development of the NascaGIS

The very first step to develop the NascaGIS applications was the creation of a special object oriented relational datamodel which includes the geometry and attribute data as well as the time.

This conceptual model was implemented on the commercial GIS Autodesk Topobase, which includes Oracle 9i spatial and Autodesk Map 3D. (For more information see www.autodesk.com).

The whole area of the famous Nasca Lines including their topographic surroundings will be stored in this GIS.

First results are available as a WebGIS applications:
