120th birthday of Dr. Maria Reiche

On May 15, 2023, the celebration of the 120th birthday of Dr. Maria Reiche took place in the high school Romain Rolland in Dresden.
At noon, the school's pupils imitated a Nasca spiral and the school logo in the schoolyard.
At the beginning of the celebrations in the afternoon, the restored bust of Maria Reiche was ceremoniously unveiled. Afterwards the president of the association Ch. Richter gave a lecture on the life and work of Maria Reiche. The highlight of the celebrations was the performance of the play "La Dama de Nazca".
