Demonstration

The application SoMoPlan exists in two different variations: The first version is for the research project Nasca to the empirical verification of the calendar theory, and contains various performance enhancements as well as connections to the Nasca GIS. A second version was developed with the aim to run on all platforms and over the Internet too. The latter version was realized with the Java WebStart technology and will be started with a click on the link below:

After clicking on the file with the extension *.jnlp it must be open with the Java WebStart Launcher, then following window will appear:

For an initial investigation it is important to download the file with the coordinates of the lines. Thereto were three different data sets taken from the Nasca GIS, which are listed in the file. Furthermore, it is useful to take a look in the tutorial for the first steps (pages 5 and 6).
