The sixth Expedition 2008
In August/September 2008 the 6th Nasca expedtion took place in cooperation with the Technical University of Prague.
Participants of the measuring campaign 2008 were Bernd Teichert (HTW Dresden),
Karel Pavelka (CVUT Prague) and
Christiane Richter (HTW Dresden).
The main objective of the expedition was the determination of ground control points with GPS as a basis for the
rectification of satellite images (Quickbird and Aster). The Trimble GPS instruments were provided by the
Technical University (CVUT) Prague. Additionally photogrammetric measurements were made in the area of the
"Ciudad Perdida de Huayuri" in the north of Palpa and in San Javier.
